# Backup Current Setup

## Introduction

Once you have finalized a configuration or added a new setup to Business Central it is well advised to save a backup of the complete confiugration. That way it will be easy to restore your GEDI Coinfiguration if needed. Back up is easely done from the 'GEDI Setup Catalog' page. &#x20;

## Backup Current GEDI Setup

### Instructions

* In 'GEDI Setup Catalog' page click 'New' and 'Save Current Setup'

* Add Name, Version and Description for your backup. Best practice is to add the date of the back up in the Version field. Press 'OK'.

Now a backup of your GEDI configurations has been saved and is possible to import if it should be needed to restore configurations at some point.  <br>
