Backup Current Setup

Backup the complete GEDI configuration

Introduction

Once you have finalized a configuration or added a new setup to Business Central it is well advised to save a backup of the complete confiugration. That way it will be easy to restore your GEDI Coinfiguration if needed. Back up is easely done from the 'GEDI Setup Catalog' page.

Backup Current GEDI Setup

Instructions

  • In 'GEDI Setup Catalog' page click 'New' and 'Save Current Setup'

  • Add Name, Version and Description for your backup. Best practice is to add the date of the back up in the Version field. Press 'OK'.

Now a backup of your GEDI configurations has been saved and is possible to import if it should be needed to restore configurations at some point.

Next Step

The next step is to update the Customer/Vendor Card with the correct 'GEDI Profile'.
